Manganese sand filter is a kind of pre-treatment filter. The main filter material is manganese sand, quartz sand and gravel cushion. The equipment is mainly used to remove manganese and iron ions in incoming water through catalytic oxidation of manganese sand adsorbent.
Can be designed for artificial and automatic control mode, can switch between. The automatic control system monitors and controls all operation points and process control points, and the operation can realize unattended and fully automatic operation. The system uses gas water backwash, backwash wastewater discharge. The concentrated water of reverse osmosis system is used in the system design for backwashing, which improves the utilization rate of water.

The low-priced iron ions and low-priced manganese ions in water are oxidized into high-priced iron ions and high-priced manganese ions by oxidation method, which are then removed by absorption and filtration to reduce the content of iron and manganese in water.
